Police were called on the Manager, Sunni. He was argumentative and verbally abusive to the guests trying to check in and refused to honor my pre-paid reservation on the following day. Expedia has made several attempts to have the Manager authorize the release since I never checked in, however he has avoided all attempts at communication and refuses to authorize the release siting its non-refundable. He is scamming guests and Expedia is allowing it with their claims they have to get permission from the hotel manager to refund a hotel stay that never took place. I have reported this matter to my bank, the GA Attorney General, Secretary of State, Federal Trade Commission, US Department of Justice, Better Business Bureau, and the regulatory agencies for the hospitality and hotel industries. I demanded an in-depth investigation to the fraudulent business and transaction practices of both Expedia and Rodeway Inn. I asked for a refund of this denied stay, and Expedia is hiding behind the hotel (no contact with manager to authorize refund). I just want my refund and I won't stop exposing this scam until I receive it!
