A large clean air conditioned room, access by lift with very helpful staff. The decoration was a little tired but acceptable and a good historic building. Parking in the public car park was not ideal. Limited evening meal menu but good breakfast.

Really pleased with the accommodation we were offered. The room was clean, large and with comfy beds and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The surrounding area is incredibly quiet, so good sleep is guaranteed. We didn't have breakfast but, judging from the delicious smell and the nice breakfast room where it is served, it must be a good deal. A big thank-you to the receptionist, who really went the extra mile to guide us up to the parking.

superb stop off on way to Santander.
The hotel was excelleb=nt as usual especially breakfast. One downside was that the restaurant was closed despite the menu being on a board outside the restaurant. The only brasserie was closed. Luckily we met three wonderful Irish ladies who directed and sheparded us to a "hole in the wall" pizza maschine. The pizza was excellent and we shall certainly be booking this hotel again but checking restaurant is open at reception

The bathroom needed to be clean better there was mold and grunge in the shower at the base on the rollers also I expect complete mattress instead of two twins pushed together so there's a crease in the middle I understand that's European but maybe they could get on board after this many years and the carpet was super old

Surpris de l'accueil médiocre
Arrivé à 1h00 du matin sous une pluie battante. Le veilleur de nuit qui avait commencé sa ronde, a mis 5 minutes à nous ouvrir alors que nous étions sous la pluie. Nous avons demandé s'il était possible d'avoir une bouteille d'eau et on nous répondu qu'il y en avait dans la chambre. Arrivés dans la chambre pas de bouteille d'eau. Pire, l'eau qui sortait du robinet était chaude. Merci à l'avenir de bien vouloir réserver un meilleur accueil.
