Lovely hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel in its perfect location. The staff were so helpful and breakfast was very good. The only downside is the noise at night coming from local bars but that is the price you pay for a city centre location and absolutely no fault of the hotel.

We stayed here for a long weekend retreat and it was exactly what we expected. The hotel is in the heart of Old Town/Alstad and close to restaurants and shops. It was also a walkable distance to the lake and the main train station.

Location is a lovely area in old town, not that close for trains ect especially in the rain but we had Christmas markets right out the front door and plenty of dining options. A charming place in a great location for Zurich HB, the main shopping area and of course the old town- where it’s situated. Nearly everything felt walkable from the hotel. Room was clean with charming touches. Loved the painted murals on lots of the walls. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful continental-style and is in the same venue as the hotel’s evening restaurant, which serves great traditional Swiss food- lovely decor and ambience to the place. Loved my stay!
