The staff here was excellent and the place itself felt very secure despite being in the middle of the city! Definitely need to be okay with some late night noise as there are a lot of late night bars and restaurants in the area but they have done a great job of sound proofing the rooms as much as possible! The location is excellent, but because there are many entertainment venues / bars nearby, it can get quite noisy. If you are sensitive to noise, I highly recommend bringing earplugs. Other than that, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful place, but unbearable levels of noise from the street outside. Essentially impossible to sleep. The room was modern and clean, but unfortunately the noise from the street outside would typically roll on until 3am and start again about 6 or 7am. Bass from nearby bars and clubs even bypasses earplugs. Ironically called 'Whisper'

It was a great place to stay (and would have given 5 stars -- except it was very noisy at night -- an issue management is proposing to address in the near future). Using "WhatsApp", communications with the manager (Dimitris) were quick, concise, and extremely helpful. We also had to meet in person on some things and he was very accommodating to do so. Location was super, in that there were many restaurants in the immediate area, etc. Access to Athens historical areas were walkable, and we really enjoyed exploring from this location. Dimitris also arranged transportation for us to get to the Cruise port ... which was very helpful since info from the cruise-line was limited and rather confusing.

The hotel is conveniently located, very close to the metro stations, and surrounded by a lively neighborhood that gets quite bustling at night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, assisting me whenever needed. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with earplugs thoughtfully provided. On the night before check-out, I even received a small gift and greeting letter, which was such a kind gesture. I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future

Beautiful new hotel. We stayed in the Superior City view room with a balcony. Lovely and felt very safe. Staff were wonderful. Location is very vibrant and walkable to all attractions. It is hopping at night but with ear plugs a very enjoyable stay. Very pleased with the hotel!

I had the most amazing experience staying at the Whispers Athens Suite. The room and property were exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable. I loved that it was located on a main streets, close to everything and in a very safe area. I stayed in a ground-level room, which can be a bit noisy for a light sleeper like myself, but the thoughtful touch of earplugs by the bed made all the difference. I would definitely stay here again, perhaps on the second floor next time. Thank you to Ana for her amazing, warm, welcoming energy and assistance.

Great staff! Angela is very pleasant and always quick to reply to any questions. She was kind enough to book us a private transfer to the airport due to the taxi strike. The bed was super comfortable with great cotton bedding. Room was large in comparison to most European size hotel rooms. It was a great 2 night stay. Only downfall is that it’s close to bars and it gets very noisy. They do supply earplugs. lol

The place is beautiful, the staff are excellent, it’s very secure (alarm systems and cameras). My only negative comment is it is located with lots of restaurants and it’s noisy until 2AM. They provided ear plugs on the nightstand. I saw them when I first went into the room. Red flag raised instantly. I would stay again if it wasn’t for the noise

Nice room, busy location.

Great location for the daytime but beware how close you are to the clubs at night. It was nice being walking distance to so many things but we didn’t realize we were surrounded by 3 clubs until the nighttime. The music is very loud until 3am, we stayed in the room on the ground floor. Bed is super comfortable, check in was fine but they had said they could probably get us in early and ended delayed a few times promising it would be soon. Better not to suggest early check in at all.

This is a lovely, new boutique hotel in the Psiri neighborhood. I was really pleased with my room and thought everything was very tastefully designed. However, it should be noted that even in spite of it's name, Whisper hotel is far from quiet at bedtime. There are a lot of bars that have late hours and DJs going until 1:00-3:00 a.m. which made it difficult to sleep. Lots of options fo restaurants and bars nearby, and very close to the nicer areas of Plaka and near the Agora, but the overall issues with noise in the evening caused me to cut my stay short.
