The hotel was very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel combined two brands in one building, Tru and Homewood Suites.

I enjoyed my stay both the staff at the front desk and the staff in the food area were very nice and courteous. Only concern I have is that you can hear all of the elements outside when you stay in the downtown location as well as the rooms on your floor, I heard a pet dog barking And like breeze blowing like air blowing through my door or wind.

Brand new property with nice rooms. Staff friendly and on top of things. Breakfast was great - hot and cold, juices, and more. Only surprise was parking - separate and $15 dollars. Convenient to I-26, zoo, and more. We’ll likely be back when visiting or passing through Columbia.

It was alright for what was needed. Breakfast had options - but was cold… I think sterno was out. Phone in room didn’t work. AC wasn’t cooling past 70. TV channel guide channels were not correct, were two off. Staff were attentive.

I was surprised that this was the second day of the hotel opening. We have stayed at Tru Hilton several times but walking into a brand new Tru was a very pleasant surprise.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
My only compliant was the $16 charge for parking.

The room and other areas of the hotel were very clean and it was close to my son's apartment which is why I chose this hotel. Everyone was very nice and I don't have anything bad to report about the room or the people. I do however have an issue with posting signs that the fee to park is $12 and then being charged $18.98.

I believe we were the first people to stay in that room. The view of the sunsetting over the river was absolutely amazing. The phone in very clean room, did not work and I did not ask to fix it so late in the night. My son and I wanted some midnight snacks so we tried to get room service but could not due to the phone.

The hotel is new and we would have had an excelent stay but the wi-if didn’t work in one of the days and it was a problem. My daughter had to do homework due that night and was not able to do, I had to work and I was not able to so it was a very bad inconvenient.
Also, there was a huge noise coming from
Outside the room, the wind or some machinery, but we think a wind or flow of air was very loud and disturbing.
If it wasn’t for that would be 5⭐️
Lastly, Parking, there is no space for
Parking, guests have to double park or
Park on the street after paying for parking.
There are 2 hotels and is very hard to park.

Beds very uncomfortable and pillows were also. Loud noises, probably due to location of ice machine, but also strange creaking and boom type sounds. Staff all very nice.
