Don’t judge a book by its cover applies to this hidden gem. When we pulled up we thought “what have we done?” But the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was not so much a breakfast as a snack, but that didn’t really matter to us.

This was a very nice place to stay overnight. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean, (except the carpets could have been vacuumed better. I stepped on several things in the carpet. One negative I have would to say was the heater/air conditioner was very loud. The night staff was amazing and when I met the manager this morning, he was very friendly and open to engaging in conversation with the guest.

This very old hotel was remodeled to be so quant and beautiful. The room was very relaxing with the updated decor. The room smelled and looked very clean. The hotel description stated check in time from 3-10pm. Office closes at 10pm. I did not notice this fine print until 11pm!! Terrified I was not going to be able to check in after a 12 hour drive I quickly called only to discover the owner had my information all ready for my arrival. I only needed to complete the form and grab my key. Such a huge relief. The owner was very accommodating and genuinely kind.

This was a fantastic surprise! Beautifully renovated, relatively quiet (rude truck drivers with Jake’s in night) very happy. Only point would be to have hot water more readily accessible! Took a long time to get hot water which seemed like a waste of water.
