Hotel De Champagne
"Great room for the price. Would stay again any time."
Appart Hotel Odalys City Angers Centre Gare
"Convenient location, 15 mins from town. Parking, pet friendly and apartment style room with fridge. Good for children."
Novotel Angers Centre Gare
"relocated to this hotel during our stay in Angers during the very hot weather. This hotel is incredibly modern, well maintained and exceptionally clean. Our room was spacious, modern, loved the rituals toiletries and lovely roomy walk in shower. Room had air con, good view, really convenient for the train station. Very welcoming on the front desk and a superb breakfast. Would recommend and would very much stay here again if ever in the area."
Hotel de France
"The staff was helpful and the hotel was perfectly situated."
Séjours & Affaires Angers Atrium
"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."
Logis Angers Sud
"Great room and had A/C given the heat was amazing. Given a bottle on arrival that can be used for the machine in the hallway offering Britt filtered water cold or warm as well as sparkling water. Wide selection of drinks offered as well as food had no need to leave to go elsewhere. Staff were friendly and informative."
Hôtel Saint Julien
"Très bel hôtel dans le centre d'Angers, personnel serviable et sympathique."
Hotel du Mail
"Nice room with en-suite. The shower was rather awkward to use as it did not have a high wall mounting but that was the only inconvenience we had. No a/c but a fan was provided although we bought our own small fans which were much quieter. Breakfast was fresh with lots of things to choose from. The central location was important to us as was the proximity of parking. The hotel car park was full on arrival but there are two public car parks one above and one below ground within a 5 min walk. We would happily return if staying in Angers again."
Continental Hôtel
"Great hotel with air conditioning during the heatwave!! What a life saver. Close parking and very nice staff!! Would def stay there again."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Angers
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Angers is in April, November, and December, when hotel prices are generally lower. For those looking to explore the city's rich history and vibrant culture, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is ideal. During your visit, you can take advantage of great value for money by discovering key landmarks such as the impressive Château d'Angers, the fascinating Musée des Beaux-Arts, and the historic Angers Cathedral. Additionally, enjoy the local wineries or immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of cultural festivals. Overall, Angers offers a wealth of experiences that are both affordable and enriching.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for hotels in Angers, check the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. You could also enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping you secure cheap hotel deals. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if prices drop or new rooms become available, you’ll be among the first to know, increasing your chances of booking an affordable getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in an Angers hotel. If you're after something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and might offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your selected dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may offer better rates, helping you to get the most value for your money.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be pricier, but with Angers' excellent public transport links, you might discover a more likely affordable independent hotel a bit further out that’s still well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there’s often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
