Jaipur's Pink City bursts with colour and history behind its rose-hued walls. The iconic Hawa Mahal's honeycomb facade captures morning light while City Palace showcases stunning Mughal-Rajput architecture. Wander through bustling bazaars where temple bells mingle with vendor calls and artisans practice centuries-old crafts like block printing and jewellery making. Traditional Rajasthani thalis dominate rooftop restaurants with palace views, while street vendors serve up local sweets. Auto-rickshaws and walking are your best bets for navigating the narrow medieval streets. Heritage havelis converted into boutique hotels offer the perfect blend of cultural immersion and comfort.

Civil Lines
Civil Lines offers a peaceful retreat from Jaipur's busy tourist spots with its tree-lined avenues and colonial architecture. The neighborhood's cream and pink bungalows with manicured lawns create a park-like atmosphere perfect for morning strolls. After exploring nearby attractions like Birla Planetarium or Sawai Mansingh Stadium, return to this upscale residential haven. Hotel restaurants dominate the dining scene with rooftop venues and multi-cuisine options. Most accommodation feature heritage hotels in converted colonial mansions with swimming pools and gardens. Getting around is simple with readily available auto-rickshaws and taxis connecting you to Jaipur's vibrant centre just minutes away.

Bani Park
Bani Park offers a peaceful retreat from Jaipur's buzzing tourist centers with its tree-lined residential streets and traditional pink sandstone havelis. The area charms visitors with ornate balconies, intricate carvings, and authentic Rajasthani architecture. Dining options range from rooftop restaurants serving local specialities to small cafes with moderate prices. Most heritage accommodation feature traditional courtyards, personalised service, and cultural programs showcasing folk music and dance. Auto-rickshaws and taxis connect easily to major sites, while the quieter streets make morning and evening walks particularly pleasant.

C-Scheme
C-Scheme delivers Jaipur's most refined experience with high-end shopping and upscale dining that won't leave you hungry or bored. The striking pink sandstone architecture of Jawahar Kala Kendra arts centre stands proudly among glass towers and tree-lined boulevards. Central Park's manicured gardens offer peaceful strolls where peacocks strut between musical fountains and evening crowds. Restaurants serve everything from elevated Rajasthani thalis to international cuisine, often with rooftop views. Luxury hotels and boutique properties dominate the accommodation scene, complete with spa services and rooftop pools. Getting around is easy with abundant auto-rickshaws and app-based cabs whisking you to nearby attractions.

Malviya Nagar
Malviya Nagar gives you a peek into how Jaipur locals actually live their daily lives. The peaceful residential streets buzz with morning temple bells and the smell of fresh rotis. World Trade Park and Gaurav Tower shopping centers offer both modern retail therapy and traditional handicrafts without the tourist markup. Family-run guesthouses and budget-friendly hotels make this area kind to your wallet. Getting around is a breeze with plenty of city buses and auto-rickshaws zipping through wide streets. Local dhabas serve up amazing Rajasthani thalis that taste like someone's grandma made them just for you.

Jaipur District and related destinations
Amber-hued palaces rise from Jaipur's dusty streets like a fever dream, where elephants still plod ceremoniously up ramparts as they have for centuries. The City Palace complex reveals courtyard after courtyard of architectural splendour, while nearby Jantar Mantar's massive astronomical instruments still accurately track the stars. Haggle good-naturedly at Johri Bazaar for textiles that put modern dyes to shame. The honeycomb façade of Hawa Mahal was built so royal ladies could observe street life unseen. Nahargarh Fort offers sunset views that explain why maharajas chose this spot to rule their desert kingdom. For a taste of local life, visit Chokhi Dhani in the evening, where traditional Rajasthani village life unfolds with food, music, and puppetry that hasn't changed in generations.

"Great decoration lovely hotel"
Ramada by Wyndham Jaipur
"Staff was helpful, Hotel was clean, and location was near to market."
ITC Rajputana, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Jaipur
"We had a very pleasant stay at ITC Rajputana last week. The hotel beautifully reflects Rajasthan’s heritage, with elegant architecture, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. I was travelling with my mother, and the staff were consistently courteous, attentive, and helpful in making her comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The onsite restaurants were very good, with enjoyable food and service. Breakfast offered a good variety, although the taste was fairly average and could be improved. The hotel is close to Jaipur’s main railway station, which is convenient, but the surrounding area becomes heavily congested during peak evening hours. We frequently got stuck in traffic while returning to the hotel, so guests should allow extra travel time. Overall, it was a comfortable and memorable stay, and I would gladly recommend ITC Rajputana, particularly for its warm hospitality and excellent onsite dining options."

The restaurant staff ensured that everyone were comfortable and always asked if I wanted something else to eat. Many thanks to the doormen who were always welcoming. Property very clean."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Jaipur
- Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Jaipur is between May and July, when hotel prices are likely to be lower. For a great value for money experience, staying for at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully explore the city's rich history and culture. During your visit, you can discover remarkable attractions such as stunning castles, ancient temples, and vibrant gardens, as well as enjoy insightful tours of museums and historical monuments. This timeframe allows for ample sightseeing, making it an ideal choice for those on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals on hotels in Jaipur, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay updated on flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, helping you make the most of your budget. Hotels.com also features Smart Shopping, a comparison tool within the app that allows you to assess hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're more likely to spot the best deals, including luxury options, before booking your getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Jaipur. If you're after a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised atmosphere and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we can suggest more economical dates that may help you secure a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying closer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might want to look at hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and easy access to the places you intend to visit. You could also consider independent hotels a bit further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
