Great ecolodge living with good environmental credentials, in a spectacularly beautiful forest setting. The beach is only a few minutes away and there are many quiet, welcoming cafes and restaurants along the path to the friendly, unspoilt town of Gamboa. The accommodation is well designed and comfortable and lovely home-cooked breakfasts were delivered to our door. We would recommend hiring a carregador to take your luggage up and down, as there are many flights of steps to climb (although it is worth it for the setting and view). Some cleaning implements would have been welcome to keep the space clean. A mosquito net is provided for the bed but repellent is also recommended. Be prepared for heavy downpours, mainly at night, during the rainy season.
