Melia Purosani Yogyakarta
"Wonderful hotel stay, great wellness center, food, amenities, pool, gym! We tried it all and will be back!"
Swiss-Belboutique Yogyakarta
"We were always greeted warmly by the staff, who aimed to please and provided great communication. The room was impeccably clean and the breakfasts were excellent - with a wonderful variety of food. We appreciated the location, which was walkable to Malioboro St. We didn't use the spa, but the pool with the city view was a welcome relief from the heat."
Novotel Suites Yogyakarta Malioboro
"Food:TERRIBLE OTHER than breakfast. You never know what you order and what’s totally different was received. Triedfortwo days and dinner was awful. Eanded up eating outside for remaining eating up outside the last two nights. Otherthannthe lunch and dinner, this was a nice place to stay."
Kimaya Sudirman Yogyakarta by Harris
"This is a good hotel. The staff is very helpful, breakfast delicious with incredible selection and the rooms comfortable. My only complaint: the bar is terribly overpriced. We learned that our first night. Later nights we noticed that no one is there. (Hint: walk 3 blocks to Ar+otek --- their bar & restaurant are much more reasonable with local live music many nights)."
Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta
"Beautiful and luxurious hotel with an A+ staff. Room is cleaned every day unless I ask to skip (with a button near the door) but they will come by later for a rescheduling. This way they can restock the free complimentary water and food/fruits. Pool is very nice, breakfast buffet is from 6am to 10am and I do recommend getting it as part of your room - wide selection and most of its pretty good. There is a national anthem at 10am that does play in public areas of the hotel. Staff is helpful and professional with the front desk and those at most front facing positions having strong English speaking skills too. Would go back if I was in Yogya"

"Excellent service. The staff members were very attentive to all my needs. I enjoyed my visit. Definitely staying there again."
Oakwood Yogyakarta
"Amazing and friendly staff who are always looking out for you and your wellbeing. The place was 200m away from the market which has local delicious food. It is also 100m from the Tugu Yogyakarta which has many cafes at the roundabout. It’s also 5min away by car to the Tugu Yogyakarta train station and 5-15min away from malioboro mall. The swimming pool is a relaxed and conducive place."

Highlights include ancient temples, fascinating museums, vibrant dance performances, and significant monuments that offer great value for money. With the possibility that prices may drop during these months, it's an ideal opportunity for travellers looking to enjoy the rich culture and history of Yogyakarta without breaking the bank.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover great accommodation deals in Yogyakarta, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you'll stay informed about flash sales and special last-minute promotions, increasing your chances of saving. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you can make informed decisions. If prices drop or rooms become available, you’re more likely to see these updates, making it easier to secure a last-minute getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a Yogyakarta hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing your chances of finding a better deal.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Yogyakarta's excellent public transport links, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. If you're keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, you can often find great value for your money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
