Midtown Shangri-La, Hangzhou
"The room was clean and spacious. The service staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was right next to the mall which makes it very convenient for shopping and food. It’s just a short walk from West Lake as well. Highly recommended."
Conrad Hangzhou
"Very modern yet comfortable hotel. Great views from all rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff were fantastic. Centrally based near to all exclusive shopping areas."
Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Hangzhou
"Convenient location"
Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake
"Everything was perfect - location, room size, cleanliness, service. Short walk to westlake and we took a stroll to in77 shopping area. Before our rooms are ready, they have driver sending and picking us to nearby areas. The driver is very kind in recommending local food places for us (e.g. longjing restaurant main branch, 奎元馆) which is cheap and good and locals visited. Even after check in, if driver is available, also help to send us to dinner and pick us up after dinner, bringing us nearby shops to get something we needed. Driver also recommended us good places for massage. Concierge was also very friendly, with good memories as they keep track of our parcels when we were out for sightseeing. Although room is a bit old fashioned, but it’s clean and beds are comfortable. Thumbs up for everything."
InterContinental Shanghai Wonderland by IHG
"Wonderful and unique hotel. Room was spacious and modern. Restaurants and room service were quite expensive and the quality of one of our room service items was not very good. Overall, it was worth going."
Jiaxing Marriott Hotel
"Clean room friendly stuff"
Shangri-La Hangzhou
"The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders stayed at, one may feel he/she is reliving the history here. Love the lotuses in the lobby by the way, very summery."
Alila Wuzhen, Zhejiang
"The design of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The room is functional. We got a loft twin room. If you like taking steps, it is a nice choice to pick. Breakfast is good. Staff are great. Special shout out to Luna (san bai 三白). While we were touring the premises and chance upon the bar, she came forward to greet us and chat with us. Knowing we just check-in, she asked and offered to show us around. She was actually busy tending to the bar, upkeeping the bar cleaniness when there is no guest. Thus, we were so glad with her initiation and delightful accepted her offer. She brought us to various part of the hotel and shared with us the services and products offered there. Our dinner choice for the evening at 似水(Si Shui)was actually attributed to her recommedation. Here, we like to also express our compliments to the tea lady and the server (with a little hunch back) for doing their job with exceptional thoughtfulness and knowledge. We felt really taken care of us at the dinner by them. improvements feedback. Power sockets are impractical. Some adaptor cannot fit in that narrow space. Bath towels are not absorbent. I would recommend some improvements at Check-in too. Never forget to note what guests has made in their requests and managed them at this stage. An overlook on this undermines the experience. We also spend some time at your swimming pool. The lady lifeguard on duty is attentive and alert. Oh... i don't patronise bar. We did that night. Is not hard to guess why."
Tan Alley Wuzhen Eco and Cultural Community
"Great location. Rooms are well decorated, modern, and comfortable. Nice bathroom with great shower. Beds are comfy. Staff super nice even if they cannot speak English. We had a great time! "

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Jiaxing. If you're after a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price leans towards the higher end, we’ll suggest more affordable dates, increasing the likelihood that you’ll find a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For those looking for more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, which usually tend to be cheaper while still providing reasonable access to the sights you intend to explore. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, as they can offer a more authentic and cost-effective experience.
