Blackpool fireworks
Good clean hotel friendly staff although not a fan of having to pay £15.00 for parking on the hotel carpark when we were staying there overnight. I deliberatly stayed clear of the b And bs in blackpool for not bring able to park anywhere other than council carparks at a cost of £10.00 for 24 hrs. Maybe if they have to charge it should atleast be less than council charge.

Did not park on property forecourt which was £10.
Parked on road in front of property
Got up Sunday morning to find car tyre front drivers side tyre slashed.
No other cars parked on property front damaged (who paid parking).
Rooms just about OK.
Heating not working so cold and moisture running on inside of windows.
Due to area and damage to car would not recommend this area to leave a vehicle overnight.

My room was next to the cleaners storage room. I arrived on a late flight at 2am. Due to this, I paid for later check out £20 for two hours), so I could rest after my late arrival. I was woken by noise in the corridor at 4.30am, with loud talking and banging. This continued for 30 minutes, then I left my room to see what was happening. In the corridor I became aware that it was staff talking on loading up their trollies for room cleaning. One lady stared at me with a bemused expression. I asked why they were being so noisy, I received no verbal response, just a look of disdain. I went down to reception to see a staff member and informed him that I'd only been asleep an hour and had been woken by cleaning staff, he said he would have a word with them. I eventually fell asleep again, but was woken again at 8am by extremely loud drilling
I again went to reception and saw a different member of staff. She told me that it was workmen who were doing renovation work in the hotel. The drilling continued for next few hours. In essence, I paid for a late check out, but barely slept due to the excessive noise. At check out, I told the reception staff that I'd barely slept and paying £20 for a late check out had been pointless and a waste of money. The response I got was disappointing. I was told by the lady on reception: 'We've had a lot of complaints this morning about the drilling.' the whole experience was dreadful.
