The staff at the hotel was so so lovely and very helpful. We were racing at Oulton Park and it was a hot weekend and they always filled my water bottle with lots of ice so I could stay cool. The restaurant had good food. For a very simple hotel I was very impressed with the staff and also how clean the room was. It's definitely not a super fancy hotel but for a quick drive to the track it's great.

The staff were all extremely helpful and even left a birthday surprise for my dad in my room. I spoke to the receptionist a week before and explained that I was visiting to surprise him for his birthday. It was a wonderfully personal extra that they did not need to do. The rooms were warm, but that was the weather and they tried their best to keep the rooms cool. The breakfast was in the restaurant next door and so you had to choose a time slot the day before. They manage well with our larger group (7 people).
