Room was very nice, bed extremely comfortable. Bathroom unfortunately was not cleaned and had a large clump of someone’s hair bundled up under the sink on the floor. Kept windows open to for the entire stay as slightly damp smell in room. Hopefully just a blip, but will be returningnin September and October as well as visiting your chain in Walsall also in October

New village hotel set on the river between Reading and Caversham. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had to pay £10 for overnight parking and £5 for overnight use of the facilities (pool and gym). The room was large with good bathroom and shower. Very good blackout blinds. Large TV, good WiFi, kettle - coffee and tea, air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great facilities-pool,sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is a Starbucks on site and a large bar and cafe area. We enjoyed walking along the river and using the pool. We found a pub that did very good Indonesian and Asian food close by and a very good local cafe for lunch. A very enjoyable overnight stay.

A frustrating stay. A poorly sign posted car park, fleecing car park cost £15 per night which is never part of description on here, additional cost to use pool and gym and a utter patronising member of staff on 'reception' when you actually do your own check in. The room was funky which was ok but a dirty toilet spoilt it. On the positive, the food and breakfast was really good with helpful serving staff. A really nice eating bar area with great views of large tv if that's your thing. I will not be returning to this hotel or the franchise nor will my company.
