Disappointing Stay – We Had to Leave the Next Morning Unfortunately, our experience at this property was extremely disappointing. The building is very old, and there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the unit. We arrived around midnight, and one of the first things we noticed was a significant number of cockroaches, including large dead ones in multiple rooms. At first, we thought the property might have recently been fumigated. Although the unit appeared generally clean, the strong odor, combined with the presence of the insects, made the space very uncomfortable. It did not feel as though the property had been properly aired out or prepared before our arrival. The beds and all furniture were also old and extremely uncomfortable. The entire situation made us feel very uneasy. Since we arrived so late at night, we had little choice but to stay until morning. The next morning, we booked a hotel and left the property. This resulted in us essentially paying twice for accommodations, which significantly increased the cost of our trip. Staying at this property simply did not feel like a reasonable option especially because of the children. This experience caused unnecessary stress and almost negatively impacted our entire trip. Based on our experience, we would not book with this company again.
