Learn more about Tagaytay

Gazing upon Taal Volcano while sipping coffee at a scenic viewpoint might be the quintessential Tagaytay experience. The cool mountain air offers welcome relief from Manila's urban intensity. Art lovers shouldn't miss the Puzzle Mansion with its record-breaking collection or the glass masterpieces at Orlina Museum. Thrill-seekers can head to Sky Ranch for rides with spectacular lake views. Find unexpected tranquility at the Pink Sisters' convent, where nuns maintain perpetual silence. People's Park in the Sky rewards visitors with panoramic vistas from its perch atop an extinct volcano. Taal Vista Hotel

Taal Vista Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The view from this property is amazing! Make sure to eat breakfast at the outdoor buffet. Pedestrian path to Sky Ranch amusement park. Walking distance to Mushroom Burger and McDonald's. Hotel provides water filling stations for guests. They dispense hot, cold and room temperature water for free. Pitchers are provided in every guest rooms. The only negative I can say, and its not the fault of the hotel, is that ride sharing services do not operate around Taal Lake. You have to use local transportation like jeepneys, tricycles or tour vans. The latter of which can get quite expensive."

La Bella Boutique Hotel

La Bella Boutique Hotel

8/10 Good
"This boutique hotel perfectly justifies its tucked-away location, away from the main road and Tagaytay’s busiest areas—it offers a peaceful and tranquil retreat that is ideal for those seeking rest and quiet. The room I selected features an all-white interior that creates a bright, airy atmosphere. However, blackout curtains would be a welcome addition, as the abundance of natural light makes it difficult to sleep in once the sun rises. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast enough for video meetings as well as streaming, making it suitable for both work and leisure. While the property remains charming, parts of it are beginning to show their age. Thoughtful renovations and refreshed interiors would go a long way in restoring the hotel to its former elegance and elevating the overall guest experience."
