SCAM! As we arrived here from London, and were checking how to get access to the building we noticed we had a message from this hotel telling us to cancel our booking as they had over booked. They never once answered any of our messages and we had to spend 2 hours on the phone to Hotels.com to get new accommodation. At this point we had missed our reservation for the Duomo. Whilst we were there 2 other couples had similar problems and could not gain entry and had to leave. Reading other reviews it seems this is not the first time this hotel has done this. No excuse for leaving tourists stranded with no accommodation. Avoid booking this place.

I booked in the morning of the checkin and mid afternoom ready for checkin. There was no sign. I tried to call them, no reply. I wrote and after some time came a message that booking is canceled. No answer on the phone nor on the mail. I entered with the help of other guests the house and nocked on the dopr of the appartment in a relatively shabby dark part of the building. Some guests opened me, but there was noone around. It looks like a fraud. Hotel.com refunded me and gave me a bit more to book at another place. Don‘t go there. Client attention is miserable.
