Terrible experience from start to finish.
Hotels.com did not mention any deposit, yet I was later contacted on WhatsApp asking to transfer money, which immediately felt suspicious and unprofessional.
The room was unbearable. The hotel directly faces the Port of Beirut, and you are woken up every morning around 6 AM by loud industrial noise. The windows are useless for sound insulation, and the all-glass building turns the room into an oven due to zero insulation.
After checkout, I was falsely accused of taking a towel and threatened with extra charges. No proof was provided. This felt dishonest and raises serious trust issues.
To make things worse, the deposit refund took two weeks instead of 48 hours, and only after repeated follow-ups that were mostly ignored.
Worst hotel experience I’ve had.
Bad location, bad building, and even worse service. Avoid.
