An overnight stay on our way to Norfolk. The in-house restaurant had a few vegan options. There was a nice pool and spa area, so it was ideal for a relaxing evening after a journey from Kent. Good value too!

Staff were pleasant and helpful. The gym is good with proper weights / squat rack / smith machine albeit small. Rooms are incredibly poor / tired. The mattress should be scrapped, it had completely collapsed with springs poking out of the sides (several colleagues also experienced same issues). The sink in the bathroom was blocked, maintenance came and unblocked it, for it to block again that evening whilst brushing my teeth. Only redeeming factor, the food was good. Overall this is overpriced for a hotel in very poor condition. Not worth the money at all.

Room fine no problem, breakfast ok, but it was packed and staff couldnt cope, coffee machine, either queue or refreshing itself. No eggs, then no beans, no milk, no bowls. Got there in end, but not great. Spa was very good, pool great & steam room hottest Ive been in!

Rooms are spotless clean & comfortable. The Congo Rapids mini golf is fantastic. Pool is OK but in my opinion needs a bit of refresh. Staff at the reception are pleasant & helpful. The restaurant however is a big let down. We had lunch, dinner & breakfast ..the food is just OK, all members of staff look like they are wondering what you are doing there; not unpleasant, just not interested at all. In all fairness though there was one young lady at breakfast time who was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very dated. It definitely needs an upgrade My deluxe room was not deluxe. Two odd single beds push together with two old pillows did not make for a comfortable bed The soap dispensers didn't work. There was warm water coming through the cold tap and the towels starting to get holes. No net curtains in my room meant I had to keep curtains close until I was fully dressed meaning the room with a was wasted The restaurant staff were very helpful and the food was quite good - the restaurant is massive but loads of empty space made it tacky as noisy with no atmosphere and even though they kindly gave us our own room for dinner we struggled to hear each other because of the lack of furniture and general decor making it noisy The golf course seems popular but this place needs modernising

The rooms were a bit dated but the staff were all amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were excellent at breakfast, ensuring we had a gluten-free breakfast. The pool was great, as was the bar area, which was perfect in the evening.
