Avalon Hotel Downtown St. Petersburg
"One of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The property is connected to a second sister hotel right next to it. You have to go there for the pool and bar/restaurant however, they’re all great and offer plenty of food options at a good price. Plus there is a shuttle that runs from there which can take you all over downtown. I stayed in the suite and thought it was spacious and didn’t need to ask for anything extra at the front desk."

"Overall our stay was good. Amenities were spot on as described. The rooms were clean but do need to be updated and seemed to be described as luxurious online. The staff were pleasant, specifically Thomas was very welcoming. The amenities, food selection, location and night time cookies would definitely have us go back again!"

During your visit, you can explore iconic landmarks, enjoy live music, attend theatre performances, and immerse yourself in the local art scene. Don't miss the chance to visit museums that celebrate the city's heritage, as well as lively bars and dance venues that offer entertaining evenings. This timeframe provides an excellent opportunity to experience St. Petersburg's cultural offerings while keeping costs manageable.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to St. Petersburg, consider exploring the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you're more likely to see flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions that could lead to significant savings on cheap accommodation. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app serves as a comparison tool, allowing you to evaluate hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re informed about the best hotel deals available.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a St. Petersburg hotel. For those seeking unique experiences, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we’ll suggest alternative dates that may offer more affordable options, increasing your chances of landing a better deal.
- Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres can be convenient, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to balance cost with accessibility to the sights you wish to see. You might also look into independent hotels a bit further out, as they can offer a more authentic and usually more affordable experience.
