This is a great hotel! We went on our honeymoon and had the best time ever. You should definitely use the airport transfer service offered by the hotel. It can be difficult to get to your hotel without getting lost, especially if you have a suitcase.

What an idyllic spot for 3-4 days

Our stay was amazing - the hotel staff were lovely particularly George on the bar ;) who was very attentive and immediately got familiar with our requirements. We very soon got used to the steps which is essential for getting around. Our suite was overlooking the caldera which was quite breathtaking. Our suite was clean and spacious and cool during the day - we received fresh towels every day.

And absolutely book the hotel transfer wherever you are arriving from otherwise you will never find it - best most deserved tip I have ever given a porter! Everything was fantastic other than our actual room. It did not have the Seaview that we had paid for other than that. The property is beautiful and in a good location to see the sunset and a lot less for traffic, which makes it more peaceful.

The views from the Villa are incredible. The pick up service and porters to bring your luggage down are a must if you stay here. If you have any physical limitations, find someplace else to stay. If you are in good health, definitely stay here. The service is excellent. There is nothing that you could need that they couldn’t help you with.(other than flush toilets.)🙂The views are incredible and the room was very comfortable and spacious. It made for the trip of a lifetime.

Excellent area, great staff and service. Nice breakfast buffet. If you have any luggage you MUST use the porter service, it’s free, but you must tip the porter well, they deserve it! My advice is if you have more luggage than you need for this stay to pack what you need in a smaller bag. Many, many steps to climb, but this is true of any cliff side hotel.

Oia Mare truly exceeded our expectations. The most perfect spot to watch the sunset and away from the crowds. Private balconies, the pool and rooftop made our stay extra special. The staff couldn’t do more to help you. Carrying luggage up and down stairs in Oia and providing a lovely breakfast each morning. George was fantastic and always on hand to help. We will be back!

The property itself is beautiful and very clean. The pool was very refreshing after a long day of sightseeing in the Greek heat. If you have mobility problems or are severely short of breath after the slightest physical activity…this property might not be a right choice for you because it is located on the hillside with many steps.
