Loved the stay

Loved the stay. The room is convenient, the breakfast is hearty, the staff is friendly, and the location is superb. In the city's center, you can walk to many restaurants and shops and to Dokk1, the city's library, which is also worth visiting. It was impressive how environmentally friendly this hotel is as well.

This hotel was convenient for the centre of Aarhus, parking was expensive (300DKK per night) but safe and convenient. Loved that they were eco-minded: only servicing rooms on request, minimum food wastage in restaurant. Clean, comfortable and helpful staff.

Basic rooms but great location, breakfast, service

We chose this hotel for its location - a block from my sister's apartment - and it certainly excelled at being in the center of things! I don't know that we would choose it again if proximity to family weren't our priority. That said, the room was clean, but sparse (e.g. barely any toiletries, no decorations or rugs, etc.). The breakfast buffet was robust and tasty, and the staff was helpful with issues large and small.

We loved our stay at Scandic Aarhus City so much that we came back at the end of our trip as well. The front desk staff was so welcoming and kind, eager to visit with us and to help us find out more about Aarhus. That welcoming atmosphere continued throughout all the breakfasts (can we talk about all the oatmeal options?) and throughout our entire stay in Aarhus. We walked everywhere from our hotel—to ARos Art Museum, to the department store Salling and its rooftop patio right down the street, and to and from the train station. The location was perfect for us—as was the relaxing feeling when we returned to our suite and balcony. A wonderful stay and a wonderful feeling we will keep with us. Thank you to everyone for making us feel at home…

The issue was the ac air mover wasn’t working and it was very hot in the room and they couldn’t fix it for the 4 days. We had to go get a fan just to sleep at night …

Kids playing everywhere

Kids everywhere. In the corridors. In the elevators. In the lobby. In the stairwell. In the restaurant. At all times. For someone traveling without kids it felt like being in a kindergarten looking at sound level and the amount of running and playing. I haven’t got anything against kids. It was just too much this time when a toddler were seated in the 30cm space between the tables and then decided to scream the entire meal. If you like a calm stay. Try something else. If you can handle kids everywhere it’s a centrally placed nice hotel.

Friendly, helpful staff, very comfortable room beds etc. ( and even a kettle!) A really excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice and even a " make your own waffles" area . Very good location and a lovely modern, spacious interior. Would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Fortalte ikke at vi skulle bestille rengøring - så kom til uredt seng og våde håndklæder der lå på gulvet. Ingen forsøg på at råde bod på det. Ved morgenmad var kaffemaskine i stykker - begge dage, der manglede brød, ost, pålæg osv. Masser af tomme fade uden der var nogen der havde opmærksomhed på det.

Lækkert hotel, tæt på alting

Familie-efterårsferie i Århus med overnatning på Scandic Århus City. Vi boede i en Master suite på 5. Sal med udsigt til Aros og resten af Århus. Fantastisk værelse med alt hvad vi kunne ønske os til to børn og to voksne. Lækker morgenmad, behagelige senge (også foldud sofaen). Der var stort badekar, som blev flittigt brugt og så kunne vi gå til alt som vi ville ud og opleve i byen. Hotellet havde det skønneste personale der med store smil og stor hjælpsomhed. Kan kun anbefale hotellet.

Meget centralt hotel med alt lige omkring dig. Vi havde lejet suiten med god plads til to voksne og to børn. Dog er sovesofaen ikke særlig bred. Kønsløs indretning, men meget behagelige senge. Rengøring fin. Venligt og imødekommende medarbejdere. Morgenmaden lå ikke i top! Alt wienerbrød virkede som noget der var taget op af fryseren. Tror ikke noget af morgenmaden var hjemmelavet.

Morgenmad: servering (line up i et hjørne) og antal af stationer var simpelthen ikke gearet til alle de mennesker. 1 kaffemaskine og 200 mennesker det giver kø! Derudover mangler der noget at drikke vand af i fitnesslokalet. Ellers en god oplevelse
