The location is great and very walkable. The place itself is very modern and clean. Dunja was super helpful and very attentive over WhatsApp. The only complaint I have is from the noise from the downstairs bar. The Bar is open Thursday-Sunday so you hear all the music and people. But nothing we couldn’t sleep with would stay here again.

We had a four night stay. The host was accommodating and altered our booking dates for us at no cost after the reservation was complete and we realized a travel error we made. Communication was very helpful, giving us options for transportation to the unit from the airport. Meeting us at the apartments, she gave us the tour of our top floor unit and made sure that all our needs were met. The apartment is modern, simple and was very clean. Coffee, tea, water bottles were supplied along with body wash, shampoo and conditioner and ear plugs. Good WiFi. Beds are comfortable with cotton bedding. All the basic kitchen equipment, though the knives are very dull. Rooftop deck with some patio furniture, hammock stand and planters accessed by a spiral staircase. The patio was in a sorry state. It didn’t look like it had been swept in weeks. The hammock was also unusable. We were told that the guests prior to us had broken the hammock. Weeds were overtaking the planter. There is no shade on the deck. Current photos are not an accurate representation of the current state of the unit. Chipped drywall, damaged bathroom cabinets and a broken toilet paper holder (also apparently broken by the guest before us and not enough time to make a repair) are not evident. The location is close to the metro station and within walking distance of downtown. A downside to the location is that it is above a night club, and extremely loud music plays until 3 AM.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay at Karitsi Suites. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations and significantly impacted our trip. The most serious issue was the noise. There is a bar/nightclub directly outside the property that was never disclosed in the listing. Music and loud voices carried straight into our room and continued until around 4:00 AM each night. None of us were able to sleep, which made the stay incredibly frustrating and exhausting. This is critical information that should be clearly communicated to guests in advance. We reached out to the rental agency during our stay to report the issue. While they apologized, no action was taken and no solution was offered. In addition, the room had a noticeable unpleasant smell upon arrival, which did not improve during our stay. The beds were also very uncomfortable and actually caused physical discomfort, adding to an already difficult experience. We understand that not every stay will be perfect, but the lack of transparency about the noise situation and the lack of resolution when we raised concerns is unacceptable. If you are looking for a restful place to stay, we would strongly recommend choosing another property.

The room was not the the we decided upon. Advertised was an apartment with a roof terrace. We didnt get that or a balcony. When checking online it seems all apartments have a outfit space advertised even when that is not the case. We did receive a samla process reduction per night compensation for this, which didnt seem adequate. It is to be noted that the apartment is directly above a nightclub that houses a lot of people outside (it is full of loud people and music) in the street until 05 thurs-sat. This got extremely noisy. That being said the apartment in itself is ok and the area overall quite nice.
