Never have I booked a place so centrally located to so many different attractions! The Vatican was the only one we didn’t walk to, cost 15 euro by taxi. Walk out the entry door and you are in the midst of restaurants and shops in all directions. As far as the room, the bed was super comfy and had nice pillows. The one big downside to this room which they labeled as “VENUS” , frankly I am surprised I didn’t notice when shopping around was, there is no traditional shower. Just a big soaking tub, which to be fair has a hand held shower head that extends out from the ledge BUT, it makes showering very inconvenient. Also makes a mess as water splashes all over the place. Above the tub are 8 long rods with LED lights on them, in theory it’s pretty cool, but trying to stand under them to shower becomes a hazard as they do not very that much so they limit the space you have to stand in the tub. If a traditional shower is not a priority to you, then this place is great! Unfortunately for my girlfriend and I, we would rather have one, so I personally would not rebook this room for us.

The location is first class . 100 yds to pantheon , 5 min walk to trevi fountain 15 min to Spanish steps . Taxi to Vatican around 10 euros and Same to Colleseum. Great restaurants all around so really close to most landmarks.

Boutique Hotel: Trouble with A/C
Everything was great EXCEPT the housekeeping staff turned off the A/C ever day after cleaning. It took a very long time to cool down the room with the A/C system they have. Temperatures were in the 90’s plus. The hotel is in a perfect location just steps from the Pantheon and taxi service. Friendly staff but note that this hotel is not staffed 24/7. No restaurant on site. No elevator on site.

It is a guest house not a hotel! Would have been good to know when we booked. Taking the bags up and down the stairs are the con for this property! Pro’s excellent location. Breakfast is a bit deceiving it’s cold cereal/ bread not proper breakfast like you get in hotels.

Little gem in the heart of a beautiful city!
I was pleasantly surprised with this little hotel. Just in the heart of Rome, everything about it is perfection : close to mostly every attraction, lovely local restaurants only a few steps away, clean room, amazing breakfast served in room and very polite staff. Cleanliness is at its best. It was a great experience for me and my son staying there for a few nights visiting one of the most beautiful historical cities in world. In this little gem you will have everything you need on a city break. I'm definitely going back to Rome and this will be my staying place. All staff at Pantheon Relais made our stay to Rome extra special. Thank you.

Brilliant location, couldn't have been more central to everything. The bathroom has a glass door which is a bit odd for us as there's no privacy at all really. But all in all great staff, nice breakfast and great area.

Almost perfect
I would give this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the shower issues. There isn't one..... There's a big beautiful tub for 2 with a shower wand, but the hot water only trickles out. If you want a bath (since it's your only option to wash) it takes over an hour to fill the tub with hot water. We wound up crouching in the tub using the shower wand. This could have only been an issue in our suite, so don't book the Venus room. Other than that, the staff, location, cleanliness, and everything else was perfect. P.S. there's no elevator, so if you have heavy bags you'll have to haul them up a flight of stairs.

Exemplary hotel with unbelievable price!
Was probably the best Familiy operated hotel have ever stayed in . Central Tuscany wine tours etc. The hotel is total solar electric but you could not tell as the entire hotel has. AC hot water all electronically controled.

The key code door lock was not functioning & were forced to stay in our room from 6pm until 9am the following morning, because we would have been locked out. Finally got an actual metal key the end of the 2nd day of our stay. Room smelled of sewer gas & had to put the bath mat over the shower drain to keep the odor down to a tolerable level. Apparently they don't know what a P-trap is.

Excellent location
Very pleasant and helpful staff. Only downside was the WiFi did not work well in our room. Also, our hotel room key did not work at night after the staff was already gone and we could not get in contact with anyone. Luckily we found an emergency room key behind the desk that apparently had access to every room. Fortunate we were able to get in our room, but disturbing that anyone could have found this and had access to all rooms. As for breakfast, it was delicious. The location could not have been better. Check in/check out was a breeze. Overall it was a great stay.

Good location, bad A/C
Pantheon Relais is centrally located near Pantheon and about 20 min walk to most attractions. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was very inefficient and the room was stifling hot in August! Also the wifi is weak and spotty. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful although I didn't find them very knowledgable about yours etc. they are only there 9-6 daily. I think next time I would select a bigger hotel with more amenties and staff. Nice decor and pretty good breakfast is provided in the room- cereal, coffee, croissants, charcuterie.
