We stayed at this hotel for three nights as a family and had three rooms. The staff was very kind and accommodating. One standout feature is their daily cleaning service, which is no longer the norm in many hotels. For food options, there’s a café and a pizza place right next to the hotel, and IHOP is within walking distance. The location is convenient—you can walk to the subway, or if you prefer a cab, expect to pay around $30–$35 for a ride to Broadway or nearby areas. The rooms are modest and compact, reminiscent of European-style accommodations, with only the essentials provided. If you're looking for an affordable place to stay in New York and don’t mind a simpler setup, this could be a great option. However, be aware that this hotel is cash-only and does not have an elevator. Hope this helps!

Definitely they need to work on cleaning better and fix the water heater, but overall this was fine for the price. I felt safe enough as a solo female.

An okay experience on a central address

The hotel was okay - quite run down, reminded me a bit of staying at your grandparents house in their spare storage room. A few items wasn't working (heater/cooler/tv couldn't be turned on). The sink was leaking from the handle on the faucet. I would say that the cleaning of the room was sufficient for the entire week. I did not hear much noise from the street and could easily sleep. The hotel was nicely situated and close to several subway stations. It was very easy getting around from here and the staff was kind whenever I met them. Be aware that there is no elevator and you might have to climb 3-4 floors on a narrow staircase with your luggage, so the hotel is not accessible for someone who is disabled or has difficulty walking. You can pay per day, but only cash. All in all: An okay experience in a nice area, but do not expect too much.

Very economical, and you get what you pay for.

This place is very bare-bones with kind of a weird vibe. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the bathroom barely had any room to move around. There were almost no surfaces to put anything. The hot water took forever to get warm. The room was freezing at night, but the included space heater helped. Seemed like a bit of a fire hazard, though. The staff were friendly enough and helpful with getting suitcases up and down the stairs, since there is no elevator.

Great Hotel for the price! Central location in Manhattan, near NYU. Besides seeing 1 roach when we arrived it was bug free. You can smell them thou from the drain which is something to be expected in an old building
