Pyramids is NOT a 5 Stars resort! I don’t know why or how they’ve been rated so but they aren’t 5 stars at all - I’d rate them 3 to be honest. The place needs updating - we were in a renovated room and our fridge was tiny and dirty, didn’t keep drinks cold, no remote for the AC, tiny TV. Food is not very good in terms of taste and quality, though quantity wise there is a lot to eat - we ended up eating out at least once per day, which is not pleasing at all when you’ve paid for all inclusive and considering the closest places are 20 minutes away. Pools have green mold around edges and floors are slimy in parts - told a lifeguard but they said ‘that’s normal’. Beach was closed our entire visit due to a shark attack so not their fault but disappointing to not be able to enjoy the sea. It looked beautiful and would have been the best part of the trip.
Honestly, if I had paid 3 star resort prices I would have been happy with the resort. However, I paid 5 star rates and didn’t stay in a 5 star resort, so we aren’t very happy.
