"I stayed here with a group of 8 friends on a cycling tour of The Netherlands. This was the favourite hotel of everyone. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure we really felt like guests in someone's home. Nancy and her team did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. The hotel was spotless, the service excellent, and the breakfast exceptional. I can high recommend."

"Very relaxing, clean and stylish minimalist design. Quiet location within walking distance to dunes and reed beds. Excellent cycling lanes. Plenty of wildlife and within easy cycling distance to colourful bulb fields, coastal tracks, wetlands and villages. Limited places to eat without transport. The food in the restaurant however is delicious and excellent quality but fairly pricy. Limited choice for vegetarians/vegans. Always at least 2 fish options. Around 100-110 euro for 2 mains, sides,...

"This is a nice hotel in the centre of De Koog, not too expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also spacious and there is good light above the mirror. The shower is good. There is a nice restaurant attached with excellent food. My only negative is that the bed was sagging in the middle, not so comfortable."

"Super clean, and some of the friendliest and obliging staff I've encountered on any trip. Can't comment of food as we didn't eat there, but would certainly recommend. Only thing I'd say is that it isn't a 5 min walk from the harbour - more like 15 mins - but you walk the length of the main stret so you get your bearings early on. "

"The staff are really nice, helpful people. The breakfast was a bit rubbish, next to no hot option. It is open 5am -10am I think. I qas £150 a night for a tiny room with no a/c and a single bed. Pretty sure i was bitten by bed bugs but i can't prove this, i may have been bitten from something while walking round town. €25 for a laye checkout seemed fair. Location is as central as it get. Theres a lively sitting area out the front, perfect for a beer in the sun or some food ( i only ate breakfast...
