"I had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Inn. It is in a great location for trips to Homer or Seward. My room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was huge and tasty. i enjoyed the setting between mountains with ponds and streams. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. I would stay here again!"

The location is ideal—just minutes from downtown Seward, the harbor, and Exit Glacier, but far enough away to feel private and serene. Whether you’re headed out for a wildlife cruise, glacier hike, or just exploring Resurrection Bay, Spruce Lodge is the perfect home base. 💤 Highlights: Super comfortable beds and high-quality linens Spotless bathrooms and great water pressure (a must after a long hike!) "This is a fun low-key place to stay. Be sure to know your room number (on your reservation) as you will check yourself in. Everything was clean and it was very quiet. The shared kitchen was a nice place to meet people and had everything we needed."

"It is a small motel near the scenic road from Anchorage to Seward. The view awesome. It takes 30- 40 minutes to get to Anchorage, 20 minutes to get to Wild life center and 40 minutes to Whittier. The price is much reasonable compared to the fancy hotels in Anchorage and Sewards. There is a gas station next to the motel. We brough our own food. We did not see many dinning options. "

"When we first booked, did not realize it was tied to cruise line and their ‘land tours’. This was the 3rd one we stayed at on our trip. Rooms were nice and very large. Very cool that they have wood burning fire places and supply wood. Only drawback is no fridges. Resort seemed to have lots of walking paths and had outside games and nice patio overlooking river. Our family enjoys walking - was quite a hill climb to get to our room. "
