The motel was in a very quiet location with hardly any traffic noise. It was conveniently located in the Sippy Downs area.

Not far from the beach but with a much cheaper tariff. Old building but very comfortable and perfectly suitable for an overnight stay. Didn’t see the staff but received an email with easy checkin details. Parking in front of room. In a quiet area off the highway.

This is a tired motel, and despite no smoking signs people still smoke right outside the rooms. There was no bolt lock on the door. Communication with the staff was difficult.

I found several cockroaches in the kitchenette during my first night. Despite the unpleasantness I killed them and cleaned them up. The second night I woke up to insect noises and found a big cockroach and some small ones walking behind it. I felt very disgusted and could not sleep. I notified staff who moved me into a new room for my final night but it was a very unpleasant experience.

I was relieved to secure an hotel at last minute close to Sippy Downs and arrived late around 8:30ish from the Pet hospital. The hotel was closed up and there was poor light outside and I couldn’t see the hotel office or a sign for the office. I walked around the side of the building where I saw a light and a couple were watching TV I asked if their room was the office and how I could find the Manager. They gave me directions. I found the office door and the Manager was very helpful , she promptly checked my booking ,gave me keys and pointed me to my room, a few doors away. This is an older 70’s style establishment that has been updated, inexpensive tariff and well kept. It appeared to be booked out once my room was confirmed. Main Room & bathroom , we’re clean & tidy. Queen size Bed ,linen was clean & bed very comfortable. TV ,complimentary milk, tea & coffee, kitchenette style with kettle & refrigerator . There was a very loud noise outside the Bathroom window from an air conditioner. But once the old heavy bathroom door was closed it drowned out the sound. I slept well in the comfy bed and left early to return to the vet hospital. Thanks Fiesta& Last Minute I needed that safe secure rest.

The motel is of an older variety with attempts being made to upgrade. we had a 3 night stay. One our first night, there were 6 coffee sachets, 3 tea bags, 4 sugar and one very stale pack of biscuits. We thought these would be replenished the next day, but we were left waiting.

The host was really friendly & accommodating. Quick response to messages & really convenient with check in & check out. The only things for recommendation would be a rug or something to wipe your feet on as the floor is lino & it was raining outside, so feet felt dirty after showering & the powrerpoints by the the TV didnt work.
