Clean and convenient to downtown
I booked a room for one night for an event in Knoxville. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping and would have been walkable to the concert if not for frigid temperatures and icy sidewalks. Hotel appeared very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable with 4 pillows each. Check in was easy and quick. Staff was friendly. I recommend this hotel if you need a place in downtown Knoxville.

Good service makes the stay turn out ok.
Our first room, 814, had a howling rattle in the exterior window that wouldn’t allow us to sleep. We changed rooms at Midnight to 1702, and from then on the stay was fine. The staff was very courteous and addressed our concerns quickly with a solution.

It was amazing! New Years Eve and there were a ton of people checking in at the same time as we were. ALL of the staff was friending and very accomodating to all of us.
My only thing was, I'm staying at a Hilton and I had to pay $50 for parking. Thats self parking, not valet. We have a cab on our truck so they told us we had to park in another lot across the street, which was fine. $26/12 hours. I would have appreciated the heads up when we made the reservations as I probably would have chosen somewhere else to stay. Then when I got my bill, I was charged another $30 for parking that we didn't even use. I called and was gladly refunded but the frustration of it all will make me peobably not choose Hilton again. Staff and room was wonderful! Thank you to those folks that were there New Years Eve!!

Smelly room, parking scam
Room smelled like chlorine gas and made me and my girlfriend both dizzy. Front desk refused to do anything about the issue, so we spent the night in a Clorox coffin and woke up with headaches.
Used the hotel parking garage, and was not prompted for payment in the garage or when checking out by hotel staff. Instead, I was mailed a ticket less than a month later by Hilton that included an insane $55 late fee, despite arriving at my house within 30 days of my stay. Can't get anyone on the phone to dispute the charge. Total scam. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Crowne Plaza.

One night stay as we passed through town visiting our daughter. Love the location of the hotel and the restaurant is really good! (And stays open late which seems to be a rarity in Knoxville).
Check in was great and the staff is super friendly.
Main complaint is that the shower in our room would not produce hot water- multiple tries, and letting it run to hear for quite a while. Made for a very uncomfortable shower on an already cold winter morning.

Overnight stay
The stay was great, we had a water spill near bathroom floor and the staff came quickly to address and also offered us to move rooms and also gave us complimentary breakfast for our troubles. All the staff were friendly and made sure our stay was great. I would definitely book Hilton Knoxville again.

Beware of parking scam
Charged $50 a night for parking (I did not valet) and the garage was a public garage. If I had just not told them I had a car, I could have paid the public parking garage $20 a night instead but they failed to mention that. Told me they had to know my license plate number to validate parking when I could have just scanned the QR code in the garage and paid them directly. Parking is a scam there

Ornery Staff.
Everyone at the front desk with the exception of an older gentleman were very short and rude. It seems to trouble them if you have questions.

Fall Colors and Cool Weather
Very nice, older hotel in very good shape. Location was great for walking main areas of the city. As with many upscale hotels, it did not provide coffee in the room, or a microwave. Had a very nice lobby and lounge area and also a patio area with big screen TV and bar.
