Engage with your guests!
I find it to be terribly concerning that hotel courtesies have been lost. At check out, we received a measly hello. What room? Do you want a copy? And, really nothing else. No questions about how our stay was or if everything was okay. No thank you. So cold. Go back to teaching customer service skills. Engage with your guests. Ask where they are from. Banter a little. It all changes the game and will differentiate you from all the other hotels. BE DIFFERENT!

Beware of airport shuttle availability
The hotel and room itself was great. I was pretty annoyed that the airport shuttle was monopolized by air crew, who apparently can’t share the shuttle with anyone so we had to take an Uber. Really shuts out all your other customers

Didn’t plan on staying an additional night in Oklahoma City weren’t it for an extensive airline delay. I was pleasantly surprised that a room was available for reservation literally an hour before I checked in. Everything about the hotel was top-notch including staff, food/beverage offerings in the lobby, in-room amenities, and free hotel shuttle to the airport. The hotel was literally my savior during a stressful time in my return home.
