Sustainably certified, very clean, friendly hotel
My husband and I did a road trip from Sweden, to Denmark, to Germany. The hotel was on our way and because it was located almost in the city center we selected it. The hotel was wonderful, the staff was super friendly and helpful. There is parking but it is limited, I recommend letting them know you come with a car. The hotel is very close to the city center - 2 minute walk. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfast is amazing, they have an omelet station where the cook prepares the eggs to your liking, multiple fresh juices, smoothies, and healthy drinks. The breakfast buffet is large and has something for everybody; from healthy to vegan to typical American breakfast with bacon.
The hotel is certified to a sustainable tourism standard: Green Key. You can see their commitment and initiatives. I loved seeing that people are passionate about making a difference. The hotel does not make it very known that they are certified. I asked the staff. I think they should have publicized it more in the lobby or elevator and let their guests know about all their efforts. Perhaps they inspire someone to stay in the future in a certified hotel or even make some efforts in their home.
I only can recommend the hotel. We enjoyed out stay and would gladly come back!!
