You don’t pay for luxury, you’re paying for location and convenience. My room had a toilet that was leaking puddles of water when flushing due to caulking that was old/wore off. Bathtub didn’t drain as it had a plethora of hair creating blockage, had water up to my ankles. Sink counter was not clean nor were the bathroom walls. This is something house cleaning should’ve brought up to management before delivering a below par room to guests if they cleaned the bathroom correctly, they would’ve saw the tub didn’t drain or that toilet was leaking. I will say that when I asked for this to get fixed, they did send engineering right away to rectify the issue. However again, despite $500 a night, you’re paying for convenience of being in the middle of Times Square. Not for luxury, cleanliness or comfort. Would probably never stay here again.
