The only issue I had with the Mardi Gras Hotel was the nonexistent internet connection. If you depend on an internet connection, you might not like it here.

Decent place to stay
The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a view of the inner courtyard.It is an older hotel, our hot water pressure was low one day and it affected our showers. The beds and pillows are decent. Lots of noise from airplanes flying overhead.

Never again!
Room was dirty. Carpet wasn't vacuumed and a bug crawled out of drain. I paid for a room with a view of the pool and was given a room facing the back parking lot. Heard the people next door throwing up all night and door to room was unsafe. It looked like it had been kicked in and not repaired right.

Unexpected Pleasure
I booked this hotel because I was in town for a convention (last minute) and the chain hotels and casinos that I would normally stay in were incredibly expensive. I was very happy with the room and location. Just a few minutes walk to LVCC. And a spacious room, clean (but basic), free and easy parking, and no smoke smell (non-smoking room). On top of that, the staff were all incredbily friendly.
