2/10 Poor

Absolutely not
The only saving grace is the staff, who were all super friendly. The lobby is unstaffed after a certain point, and the door to the lobby is locked then, which should’ve been an immediate red flag. When we were given a physical metal house key for our room, that should’ve been red flag 2. Driving around the building to get to our room, we quickly discovered that this is a hotel where people live, not just stay for a short time. Red flag 3. Upon entering our room, the smell of smoke was strong, there was hardly any furniture, and the bed and bathroom were filthy. The bedding wasn’t hotel bedding either, just residential bedding from Walmart. We cut our losses and dropped our key off at the front desk and high tailed it to the Hilton.

Overall good experience. It’s not the nicest place int he world but it was a pretty good hotel all things considered. Cleanliness was okay

2/10 Poor

I would like to begin with literally the only positive thing about this stay: the guy at the front desk. I can't remember his name, but he was very kind and friendly. Impressive, considering he had to work with no air conditioning. He was the only good part of the stay. I worked as a hotel maid, and I can tell you with absolute confidence that the second we pulled into the lot I knew I'd screwed up. Filthy, unsafe, grimy, dusty. The tub had pubes and a ring of grime you could feel. The room was sparsely furnished, and I can only assume the owner's daughter picked this stuff. In 2001. When she was 14. Either that, or a cheap hooker. And I mean dirt cheap. Faux leather bedside tables, faux leather chairs, faux leather headboard. Bed was like sleeping on a burlap sack full of loose stuffing laid on a plywood board. We put an ironing board under the door handle, because the only security aside from a literal key, an actual real life metal key, was a latch at the top of the door. I am not usually the demanding type, but there is absolutely no excuse for such lousy housekeeping. Dust on all the furniture, which my partner described as "in the style of Late Supervillain". It honestly felt like the kind of place where really cheap porn is filmed. The kind where you're worried that maybe this isn't all exactly consensual, but a rather unpleasant exchange of services. Also, front is hotel. Back is... shady apartments. It's like a ghetto Overlook Hotel. Avoid. At all costs.

This place should be not listed as a hotel. It is a dirty cheap residence in a bad area in Charlotte. STAY AWAY.

2/10 Poor

This is largely a residential facility, not a hotel. No elevator, and the carpet on the stairs hadn't been vacuumed in many weeks. I felt unsafe, as there is no deadbolt, it's an old simple key lock on a doorknob. I pushed the refridgerator in front of the door to provide security. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean however, and the front staff person was friendly.

In all my years of travel I have never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have a desk clerk 24 hours a day. We arrived at 8:30pm and no one was there to check us in.

Kind gentlemen, made my stay a great one!
When I arrived, the office was closed, but a very nice gentleman (maintenance) called the person in charge and asked me to wait a little bit. In less than 10 minutes, another gentleman arrived and took me to a room. It was very clean and what I needed. Thanks to those kind men my stay was great!

The front desk clerk Candace was very friendly. However the room I had ac did not work, sketchy people stay here because it’s an extended stay hotel. There was no iron and board like description said. My room also smelled like smoke which gave me a headache..
