Hotel review
Hotel is in a good location for those that want to walk to Veluwe direct from the hotel.
Its a little secluded so if your not eating in the hotel you will need to drive to somewhere in the surrounding area for dinner.
Restaurant had ltd menu so we didn’t eat there. We did have lunch & drinks in the hotel bar which has both a nice indoor & outdoor area.
The outdoor pool was heated so I enjoyed my morning swim followed by a decent enough breakfast (included in the price)
The rooms are very dated & a little uncomfortable, lights above the bed meant you couldn’t sit up for reading without risking the chance you would do yourself in injury.
The aircon was useless & the bed was just too soft meaning our two night stay left us both a little sleep deprived.

Nice location, good as a base
Generally good hotel. Beautiful location. Room is quite minimalist and small which is fine if this is just a base for the area. There's a gym room with one treadmill and crosstrainer, and 3 exercise bikes, 1 adjustable dumbell set. There's a sauna and steam room for extra charge.

Prachtig en smaakvolle inrichting. Jammer dat er geen winkeltje was met veel van de mooie objecten te koop.
Onze kamer (nr.4) vonden wij kaal en donker, verlichting was minimaal met de spaarlampen.

Very good staff
It was very good in general. The only think I don't liked was that the frigo was empty and also the shower gel.
They was very friendly. I arrived after 9 PM. The kitchen was closed but the bar responsable prepared me a good meal for dinner.

Good hotel in forest location
An excellent stay over New Years week, good location to explore this more forested area of Netherlands. Good sized room, very clean with small fridge, very handy. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Never again...
Air conditioning did not work well. Staff in outside (must have a reservation) restaurant very rude. Hotel was insisting we need to make reservations due to high volume booking. We arrived with only 2 tables inside being used and 6 outside. Dinner took over 2 1/2 hours. We had to ask for bread 4x. We had to ask for water throuhgout dinner. I had to go inside to find waitress to ask for a dessert menu. Woman at front desk was extremely rude during check-in. We were there for an equestrian competition. The hotel was filled with athletes from all over the world.
Some coaches and athletes had to stay in bungalows. No wi-fi...

convenient for cycling
Nice hotel, great location. Reception OK but could be a bit more more friendly/welcoming. Windows on top floor are slightly small. Pool was crowded and you have to pay for additional pool towels.

looking for a sandy beach
We arrived at this hotel after a very long journey and expected a comfortable quite night . In reality it was a comfortable night but very loud because of a fan keeping turning on and off. We tried to switch AC but it did not help at all. We were so tired that we even did not bother to notify reception about this and fell asleep without any further difficulties. In the morning we enjoyed tasty Dutch breakfast but it was difficult to spot a waiter to ask about anything. We travel with a disabled child so we also appreciate any facilities for disabled and having a room on the second floor far a way from a lift and no parking space available for disabled was not a nice experience. I must admit that we were allowed to park our car next to the entrance so it was very convenient for our kid. Early in the morning we went for a walk and admired the forest and nearby village and it was a pity that we had to carry on with our travel. There wer also some discrepancies between a booking form and the information from reception-we had to leave our room at 11:00 a.m. not at noon as stated on the booking form.

Nice place for family vacation
The four of us stayed over night at this hotel after a long dayin Eftling and before another long day in Apenheul. The room was spacious with a separate room for the kids. The shower was big. The hotel was clean and tidy.
Breakfast was to the point.
The only thing we are sorry about is the short time we spent there. When we came people sat outside near a bonefire, drinking and laughing. There are bike trails going from the hotel and it seems like a great region to explore with bikes.
The main family resolutio0n was - we need to come back here for longer period of time.

Very nice stay
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for hiking, biking and close to attractions. We enjoyed the café at the hotel at night also for some snacks and drinks. Breakfast buffet in the morning was really good also.
