A real tale of two halves this one. When we checked in, the staff were slow and very preoccupied with their mobile phones. We were given very limited information as to how the hotel worked, such as where to get towels for the pool or how to order room service. And then the room was basic, clean, but basic. And as we overlooked the swimming pool, all we could hear was booom boom house music. We should have had a card in the room with a QR code for the room service, but ours was missing, along with milk for our tea and coffee. Then the air con broke down, but it was fixed within 30 minutes, so that was great.
Then the next day. What a difference. Had a lovely breakfast up on the roof, with a couple of coffees and some fruit juice. Then we chilled on the beach (we managed to find how to get towels by now) and swam in the sea, until we had to head to the airport. We were even allowed to use the spa for a quick shower, which was lovely.
So to sum up, its definitely not a bad place to stay, but there are definitely areas for improvement. And as others have said, its not a 5* hotel, albeit the cost of a room may suggest otherwise. I'd recommend staying there if you need to be near the airport, otherwise i'd look further afield for somewhere.
