We enjoyed staying at the hotel. Location is very good with shops , restaurants, ski schools within 6mins walking distance. There is sauna and steam room in the hotel which is really good after a long day of skiing. Breakfast is ok with reasonable options.

A very good hotel offering Half Board in the La Plagne center area. We enjoyed our stay at Araucaria during the Christmas period of 2023 all the way through the new year.
We absolutely loved the Spa area and the bar zone where one can relax in the evening and get coffee/snacks at lunch time.
The dinner was fantastic every day and the variety of meal options could get everyone happy.
The Ski Shop at the ground level offers heating storage for your equipment and boots, and ski personnel helps to get your skis up the stairs making it comfy dealing with it.
The overall condition of the hotel is really good.
Some minor things we found worth calling out that might be considered room for improvement:
- there is no AC in the room, and it was quite warm =) We had to sleep with the opened balcony door and it might be a challenge for someone with small kids as slope grooming machine make noise at night
- the parking lot is super narrow :D when the parking gets busy it becomes a maze to enter/exit, especially if you have a car bigger than smallish citroen
- we found New Years entertainment program to be a bit meh as well as the Christmas dinner which was not better than a regular dinner. It would be fine if the night wouldn't cost twice as high as the other nights.
Anyways, even with this small nuances we would consider staying at Araucaria again in the future.

Amazing hotel and staff
Great hotel stayed for 4 nights and staff were really friendly great location right by the piste and all facilities were amazing and definitely redefined what a great ski hotel should be. Only slight downside were the bedrooms were a bit small but only a really minor point given we were there for the skiing. Highly recommend.

A great ski hotel.
Our group of 11 skiers arrived to find very helpful friendly staff at reception.
The rooms were large enough and clean.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful, best booked in advance, it was rather expensive if paid for during the stay.
The bar was really pleasant, great atmosphere.
The boot room staff were great too, and would come to help carry kit up and down the stairs.
The spa area was large, with a sauna, steam room and ice area in addition to the pool.
This hotel deserves top marks.

Very good service. Clean. Well located.
Bar and lounge quite well done Buffet a bit overpriced. Should be about 25 Euros, as much was cold, and not tasty.
Breakfast, again, not worth the price. Should offer two selections from buffet for 15 euros.
Overall, I would stay again—next year!!

The best hotel in La Plagne.
The hotel is extremely good. All staff were friendly and the food was top notch. The only problem we had was the room was quite small, but we chose a cheaper room anyway. We also hired skis and snowboards through the hotel, which reduced the hassle of finding a ski shop to get equipment. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel and Plagne Centre in general. Excited to return next year.

The Araucaria is located right next to the ski run and is convenient to a lift . A ski shop is located on the lower level. The room was on the small side but worked out just fine for us and was well-maintained. The staff was wonderfully helpful. The lounge is nice and had fun games and activities for kids. We would stay again.

Extremely pleasant stay. This hotel has everything you want for a fancy ski trip, and is idally located meters away from Becoin lift. The Spa by Nuxe is amazing and the play game is fabulous. For kids, families, or group of friends, you'll find things to do graciously offered by Araucaria.

Excellent service, location and amenities
Thoroughly recommend this hotel, way above the standard for skiing hotels in France.
Great (and true) ski-in / ski-out location right on the slopes opposite lifts.
Good facilities for children in the hotel with plenty to entertain, and a swimming pool for apres-ski. My 12 year old found it fantastic.
Staff couldn't help enough and the on-site ski shop / hire was excellent.

Seven out of Ten
Lovely looking hotel, (mostly) friendly staff but extremely overpriced. Breakfast is good but Buffet dinner at 38 Euro per head is poor for the price. Hotel is conveniently situated right on top of the slopes but there are risky patches of lumpy ice to negotiate at the front of the hotel followed by a dangerous climb up a snowy/icy bank to get there. Not easy when walking in ski boots and carrying skis! Had booked room only (thought we had booked half board) and decided to dine at the hotel on our first night. Walked into the restaurant and received a lecture in front of everyone for not booking and were then asked if we knew what the price was (like we couldn’t afford it) - all a bit embarrasing. Then sat down to a very poor, disappointing meal. The hotel is modern (minimalist) and very clean and the beds are very comfortable. I’d say it only has four stars because of the spa. Five star prices but deserves only three.

Perfect location, great hotel
We had a great stay at the auraucaria hotel. It’s so close to the slopes, although the ski out is via a walk up a very steep snowy path - but that might be to do with the amount of snow La Plagne has had this year!
The hotel bar, spa and restaurant can’t be faulted. And there is an on site ski shop for ease and convenience. Plus guests have access to lockers for ski and boot storage. The staff were all really friendly and attentive.
Great stay
