Excellent hotel. Family of 5 (three young children) and we stayed for 7 nights in a Grande Suite, which provided a reasonable amount of space. The facilities of the hotel are very good, and although clearly not brand new it's maintained to a very high standard and everything in the public areas and the room was impecably clean.
Megève is a phenominal place in every regard. It's a small town rather than some of the purpose-built ski resorts. Not ski-in/ski-out, but the other side of this is that there are lots of facilities and choice.
The only slight grumbles are that the hotel is a bit out of town (and the navettes to town/the slops don't run to a timetable so it's difficult to predict when to meet them), the breakfast felt a bit limited (we mostly used the kitchenette in our room to do a quick breakfast before heading out), and it'd be nice to see more vegetarian/vegan options on the restaurant/room service menu. It'd also be nice to have a kids' playroom as some other ski resort hotels have.
These are minor though.
The thing that really made this hotel, though, are the staff and the standard of service. Absolutely everyone working in the hotel was professional, extremely friendly, and went out of their way to help in every situation, even offering to assist when really no assistance was needed. This applies to the reception staff, in the bar/restaurant, the porters, and housekeeping.
Highly recommended.
