Placing you within a 15-minute walk of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Lodge at Mountaineer Square has ski-in/ski-out access, allowing you more time for downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Guests looking for a bite to eat can take in the coffee shop/cafe, and the 2 bars/lounges are nice spots to enjoy après-ski drinks after a day on the slopes. We arrived late, so first off, had trouble finding parking and had to go to the neighboring hotel to check in and then pay for underground parking as the only option once we got to the room, it was nice and cozy.

The staff at the hotel is excellant. Very accomodating and friendly. This is an older hotel but it is clean and well maintained. We had a mini suite which was perfect for a one week stay. A lot of the shops and dining in the area were closed for the season as it does every year. Crested Butte is beautiful but to really enjoy all it offers in dining and shopping and other experiences you need to check the seasonal hours as most closes in Oct-Nov. We would have enjoyed the area more if things had been opened. As far as the property though I would definately stay there again.

it was fine. We liked it a lot. It would’ve been nicer to have the lounge open that was kind of a letdown, but the staff told us where to go for a good time and we made it there and it was wonderful. Love the parking garage.

Saw the front desk person and that was the only person we saw that worked there the entire time. The electric chargers were not working and we couldn’t find anybody to tell. Parking is confusing, it doesn’t say you have to pay that day so we waited and weren’t able to go back. Rooms were decent, old furniture that is scratched up. Carpets had stains. Hotel just looked old and not well maintained.
