Relaxing and good value break.
Wasn't sure what to expect as we dont usually stay in hotels. A very grand building if a little faded. Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower could do with an upgrade and the collapsible plastic kettle was a bit disconcerting. Staff were excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Evening meal was very good as was breakfast. Plenty of choice with breakfast served in a room overlooking the grounds. Overall good value if you want somewgere quiet and relaxing.

The Dryburgh Abbey Hotel was simply lovely, quiet, and beautiful along the River Tweed. It was especially nice because the Dryburgh Abbey was walking distance from the hotel and something to see and experience. Everyone at the hotel and the guests were very friendly. The restaurant was delicious. It's definitely an adult hotel as there was very little to nothing to do for children. We had a very pleasant stay in a nice room.

Lovely hotel
The hotel has beautiful, well maintained gardens and grounds that are alive with birds. The Tweed gracefully glides past. The hotel has recently had some investment and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is charming in every way. It is situated in a very beautiful setting, along the Tweed River, next to the stunning Dryburgh Abbey ruins. It is very peaceful and quiet, a wonderful getaway from the daily grind. Breakfast was a wonderful meal each day and there is also dining options for the evening. Free parking on site which was also convenient for my rental car. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Dryburgh Abbey Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely setting and grand old place with the usual creaks and sound effects of an old and grand house. The staff were friendly and pretty efficient; - slightly sad we could not take the dogs down to the magnificent River Tweed running past - but presumably there would be safety concerns as well as outrage from anglers!
The Abbey Ruins next door are stunning as well. Overall, we were very happy indeed

We stayed 2 nights, a traditional hotel which exceeded expectations, the hotel was grand and not what we normally use, but it was great. Some of the decorations were tired but they are working on all these areas. Beds we’re comfortable and breakfast had good choice. We attended the Kelso ram sale and it was a lovely treat.
