Exceeded expectations
Incredible stay! The rooms exceeded our expectations. Turn down service came with a hot bottle for the beds which made our sleep extra cozy. The included breakfast was one of the best included hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. I usually don’t opt for the breakfast (I believe this was automatically included here) and went beyond just your normal buffet. The staff was lovely overall too and the location was very convenient for walking around the city, but also not being in a super busy area.

Hidden Gem, highly recommend!
Such a gem!! This privately owned boutique hotel is fabulous. The feel is luxury authentic. The restaurant is excellent, staff and service are friendly, helpful and overall lovely! They go above and beyond with the details- like a wool warm water bottle tucked into your bed, great for recovery after hiking!!! Rooms are spacious, bathrooms impeccable, beds comfortable, surroundings are peaceful - a little terrace off my room opened up to a water fountain and beautiful garden courtyard - relaxing to listen to the water. The lobby is even gorgeous and relaxing with tea and a fireplace.

It is by far and away the best in Peru, comparing very favourably against the five star hotel we chose for our stay in Machu Picchu, for example. We stayed at this hotel prior to our trek and then also after and it was absolutely fantastic on both occasions. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we were on our trek and when we returned, our luggage was in a room ready for us to jump into bed with hot water bottles and chocolates on the pillows. It was really fantastic. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a foreign country especially considering the price. I highly recommend it! The staff was also amazing, the dining was terrific, and overall the hotel was super charming.

If you’re looking for a quiet boutique hotel in the city center, look no further. It is amazing! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms beautiful and clean, super comfortable bed. Outstanding breakfast! We also had 1 dinner there and it was delicious as well.
