We couldn't rate Lawn Cottages highly enough. The location was very quiet, in well kept gardens, easy access to Hastings and Clive, by car. The cottage was very modern inside, and everything we needed was provided for, even down to a first aid kit! The detail was impressive. The kitchen was well kitted out. Laundry was on site, which was really important to us and this was easy to access and use. . It felt modern, fresh and clean, just what we were looking for and it made our stay in Hastings so enjoyable.

Bath towels a little on the small side. Not sure if the underfloor heating was working - it claimed to be at 22 degrees at one point but I couldn't feel it. We have UFH at home so I know it should feel like. Netflix access a positive. Overall very well presented, clean and tidy.

Fantastic property. Really well maintained, excellent amenities and extras (eggs, bread and full bottle of milk so appreciated!). Owner/manager communicates clearly and is very friendly. The property is close to the settlement of Clive and about 15mins to drive to Napier waterfront. We did have a very loud pukeko visit at 6:30am two days in a row, but I'm pretty sure he's not an actual employee! Looking forward to our next visit.

Absolutely perfect. I loved Rose Cottage. It is beautifully set up for comfort. Cleanliness was 10/10 and I’m very fussy! The fridge was set up with milk, eggs, bread, butter ang jam. The gardens are private and lovely. The separate laundry was immaculate. Internet reception was excellent and having Netflix was great. Janie’s communication was excellent. Close to Napier, Hastings, Taradale and Havelock North.
