Seychelles

What you need to know before you go

The Seychelles offer a remote tropical escape off Africa’s east coast, with over 100 small islands speckling the blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Mahé, as the largest island, is home to the beautiful bay area of Beau Vallon, which serves as the main holiday resort spot. The beautiful islands of Praslin and La Digue are roughly an hour’s ferry ride north-east from Mahé, passing the 6 lushly forested islands that form the Saint Anne Marine National Park.

Fit for honeymooners and those just looking for a true nature retreat, the islands in the Seychelles archipelago offer natural beauty that varies from pristine beaches to rainforests concealing waterfalls and rock pools. Excellent snorkelling and diving, as well as surfing and other fun, are either a short walk or an island-hop away from your luxury resort or Creole guesthouse.
