The hotel rooms were fine. No objections or criticisms. However, the nearest open restaurant and grocery stores were several miles, maybe 30 minutes, away. That fact should have been somehow communicated to us: super off season with nothing to do but look out at the sea. Which was nice in its own way.

Amazing stay in Stara Baska
The room was fantastic, probably the best of our stay this time in Croatia. The design is fresh and tasty. The staff is very friendly and competent, the breakfast was great too. The location is amazing, right on the harbour and a few minutes walking to everywhere. Highly recommended !

Etw. gehobenere Pension mit Restaurant/Cocktailbar
Die Pansion Nadia ist eine doch etwas "gehobenere" Pension (was sich auch in den Zimmer- und Frühstückspreisen niederschlägt) in Stara Baska am Ende der Straße (von Punat kommend) mit Gratis-Parkplatz. Gute Lage am Hang über dem kleinen Hafen mit Meerblick und traumhaften Sonnenuntergängen. Zur Pansion gehört auch ein Restaurant mit guter, wenn auch nicht unbedingt typisch kroatischer, Küche. Es werden aber auf jeden Fall ausgezeichnete Gerichte mit Fisch- und Meeresfrüchten zubereitet. Eine Outdoor-Cocktailbar wurde ebenfalls vor 2 Wochen eröffnet - kleine Karte aber leckere Drinks bei guter Loungemusik. Die Zimmer sind von unterschiedlicher Lage mit Meer- oder Garten (bzw. z.T. Parkplatzblick) und auch von unterschiedlicher Qualität betreffend die Ausstattung/Einrichtung. Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank und TV gehört jedoch zur Standardausstattung. Eher unvorteilhaft bei den Zimmern zum Garten ist der Küchenduft, der von der Abluft v. a. morgens und abends bei offenen Balkontüren ins Zimmer weht. Bez. Sauberkeit - Handtücher wurden fast immer gewechselt, die Reinigung des Bodens (im Bad sowie auch im Zimmer) wurde äußerst spärlich und teilweise nur nach Aufforderung durchgeführt. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant war stets sehr freundlich und bemüht, den Wünschen der Gäste so schnell als möglich nachzukommen. Auch der Chef der Anlage hat sich Zeit für die Anliegen der Gäste genommen und stets ein offenes Ohr gehabt.
