It is a very old hotel. Rooms need to be renovated. Very noisy air condition. Not well furnished, i was on a business trip there were no table desk to work on laptop. I gave my course on the bed. I changed my room the A/C was so noisy like a working field. Beach was nice

Absolutely not a 5-star hotel! Wornout furniture, broken armchair, stained walls, with several holes and nails, right next to the nighstand. If you want to use your charger you have to crouch under the nightstand and reach at the bottom of it, in order to find the socket. Exposed sockets were US ones, which, in a country that uses UK plugs, are pretty useless. They made me park my car with two wheels on the pavement, rather than providing a proper car park. It took 5 calls just to have a menu for their own restaurant.

It was nice in the beginning for the staff to call in advance to check the details about room preferences so they can prepare the room prior to check-in. Check-in was very fast and receptionist was also accommodating. Upon finding the room, there was food on the floor outside and I called guest services immediately to check if we were at the right room and asked them to remove it. It wasn't removed after over 2 hours until we personally asked housekeeping. The room where we stayed at was smaller compared to other 5 star hotels in the city. The sheets were clean but the bed skirting was so crumpled giving an impression that it was not cleaned well after the previous guest. The pool was nice and water was temperature controlled but we couldn’t fully enjoy it because it was used for swimming lessons day and night. The worst part is there were lots of bed bugs that we couldn't sleep at all and had a lot of bites and rashes.

The hotel is outdated, its certainly not 5 stars, rooms are small. Comfortable bed and pillows. Clean and also due to pandemics rooms are disinfectioned and seal stamp placed on the door. Parking is an issue, you have to be lucky to find space. The security guys do their best to check for free and available spot. Breakfast has limited choice but nevertheless enjoyed the fresh orange juice and hot mini croissants.

Hotel itself is quite nice, staff on reception very helpful as I needed to drop my bags and leave so they took them up for me. Food though was a real concern, I tried to call room service once nobody answered for 20 minutes so gave up and tried again an hour later, same problem. Eventually reception got someone to ring me. Food itself was below par, curry wasn't nice, no naan bread despite being told it came with it, they sent me a caesar salad which I didn't order and a black coffee instead of a latte. Overall, it is the kind of service and quality I'd have expected from a travelodge on the motorway back home and not a 5 star hotel in Abu Dhabi. It is a shame because room has some nice features and staff in general are helpful, but for a 5 star all boxes should be ticked. Oh and the iron was stained and burnt my shirt to top it off!

We decided to book the Sheraton as the beach and pool were open and we have a toddler now. We have stayed here before and that swayed our choice of stay. Check in was quick and we didnt mind off loading our own bags and taking them to the room. We went down to the pool and found a nice shaded spot and decided to use the pool. After an hour i went to the pool bar and ordered food and waited and waited and waited.....43 minutes for a wrap and chicken sandwich. When it arrived, after asking on numerous occasions, it was cold, not luke warm but cold and the salad i asked for to replace the fries was non existent. All the tables around the main pool were covered in used plates and glasses so i asked the Staff member to take it to the lower pool area. We left the fries as the ants were very quick to join in our snack, but we beat them to the chicken and ate most of the chicken as we were all very hungry. In our room, we ordered a Talabat meal as we had been put off by our afternoon snack. My wife was getting our toddler ready for bed , when she stood on something just next to the bed. It was a used knife. I was under the impression that all rooms were thoroughly sanitised due to Covid? How is this classed as sanitised? I have been leaving trip advisor reviews for 7 years now and i think my reviews are fair, but even under the current conditions i feel this has to be our poorest hotel stay.
