I booked a Classic room and was presented with a dark, dirty room with tattered pillowcases, tired bedding, a distinctly broken bedside telephone, a lighting fixture hanging by its electrical cord above the bed, and a generally depressing ambiance. I complained and was upgraded to the Diamond Suite which was marginally better but came with a broken tv remote control and no bathroom towels. Limited tv channels (no news channels whatsoever) Breakfast was basic: an egg sandwich and tea/coffee. As if the property's lack of maintenance is not bad enough (my room was not cleaned once - despite Reception demanding (not asking) me to leave my electronic room key, I noted that during my 3 night stay there was a strong smell of marijuana pervasive throughout the property, loud music playing up to 01:30 am most nights - blasting from the bar on the ground floor. I don't know what to say about the abundance of young individuals who just seemed to loiter around the hotel in a not-quite-menacing-but-not-quite-friendly manner. I will not be returning to this hotel and do not recommend it. At all. The owner of this hotel really ought to pay attention to its clientele, the facilities provided and the maintenance of the property if it is going to draw repeat business from its placement on Expedia (who I am critical of for not inspecting the premises on their platform. There are (I have subsequently discovered) better quality hotels within the same vicinity equally priced but better quality.
