    Perfect place to explore the Sea of Galilee area.

    We just love this place. Friendliest, most accommodating family/owners. With only the sound of birds chirping, and the grounds nestled among farms and vineyards, this is surely the most peaceful place we've stayed in 8 months of traveling. Great comfy room, with an awesomely comfortable bed/mattress. Our own little building, with private parking, our own patio with Jacuzzi, our own lounge chairs under the trees in our garden area, our own hammock, and wine/homemade cookies/candles/chocolate upon arrival... we can't think of a better place to enjoy the tranquility of Israel very near the Sea of Galilee (but just far enough away from tourist areas) . Next time we visit Israel, we absolutely will return to Bar Bakfar.

    Booking this was a slight risk given the few reviews on Expedia. However was really not disappointed. Decided to book here after not seeing anything i liked in Tiberius. The accomodation is on a working winery and you get a complimentary bottle on arrival. Was so nice that we purchased two more during the duration of our stay. The pool area looks over onto the vineyards which was beautiful at sunset. Spent the rest of the evening playing ping pong and in our private hot tub. Breakfast the next day was plentiful and tasty- especially the home made bread and labneh. All in all, had a really lovely stay and the surroundings are incredibly beautiful and was so glad i chose this place. Only very small issue if you are a light sleeper as some of the animals are early risers!

    Magnifique endroit de repos et dépaysement.

    Troisième séjour et nous y retournerons encore. Havre de paix. Le cadre est magnifique et très dépaysant. Merci à Yuval qui est attentif à tout et aux petits soins de ses hôtes. Toujours disponible. La piscine est un rêve et le petit-déjeuner parfait.
