I believe they remodel the hotel, everything is pretty fresh. Wonderful location right next to kyoto station. Like the interior design, simple but with smart space design. I basically check in n out myself. Not much to tell about the staffs.

Very convenient
Close to Kyoto station Shinkansen exit. Seven eleven in the same building as the hotel. Hotel breakfast was terrific with lots of Kyoto specialities to choose from, as well as Western breakfast food. Room was very clean. Very convenient for traveling around the city as we could hop on several busses or the subway at the station.

Excellent Hotel Overall
It was an amazing stay in Kyoto at this hotel. Great value for the money as this hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the Kyoto Station and easily accessible. A comfortable hotel in a ultra convenient location
The room was very comfortable, compact and well designed. The table was high enough to eat from, very convenient. So close to the station and bus stop so getting around was fast and easy. Added bonus of having a 7-11 downstairs. Superb location!
