Excellent hotel, wonderful breakfast, VERY nice bathrooms, and the in room entertainment setup was impressive. I've stayed at over 30 hotels in Japan and this place is definitely in my top 3. Only complaint was that the check in process was difficult because we were had 3 rooms reserved and had to go through the whole process 3 times. Will definitely stay here the next time we're in Kyoto

Nice location. Getting too and from the train station was very simple. The breakfast was worth having. There were a lot of options if you are willing to try new things. The room was small. I stayed at two other properties prior and this was smaller than either of them. The hotel was neat and clean. There is a self-service area for toiletries and teas.
