Fabulous location and ambience. Staff first class. Only constructive feedback was lack of sleep due to noise attributed to a vent or fan that worked until 2a.m.

Legendary Hamburg icon with excellent facilities and staff. Food offerings were varied and delicious; the spa was lovely, and the bars were lively, although drinks were pretty pricey. Entering this hotel is like taking a step back in time, but with modern conveniences. The elevator is small but beautiful and even contains a chair. The room was quiet and service was fantastic. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from the subway or the centre of the city with beautiful views. Highly recommend!

One of the check in service staff made me feel discriminated because all other guests can check in when they arrived before 3pm, but I was told I have to wait until 3pm even though my room is ready even though I arrived earlier than others after long time flight, not friendly at all.

Just one word AWFUL!!! -had issue with the door and keys, so I had talked to so many different staffs in the hotel, including the manager but they do NOTHING all day long until they called me at 8pm whether I want to move to another room or wait till next day! In a 5 star hotel, they had all day long to deal with it but they call me at night to see if I would like to move?! Not worth a penny. -I had an issue at the hotel and how they handled it was rude, disrespecful and terrible. When something happens hotel staffs should try to assure me, try to make a guest feel safe and try to check up on their guset regularly to make sure their guests are okay. But they don't care. If something horrible happens at the hotel they don't care!! Don't feel safe in here. -room key doesn't work! Every time I try to lock the door I have to get a help from the staffs and they all said it's not working properly. -on the second day of my stay, I went to the gym in the morning and when I came back my room door was OPEN. It should never ever happen in a hotel especially in a 5 star hotel. -you can't experience the 5 star service here. I do not recommend it. Unless you only care about the view and the location, to me still not worth the money.
